BSE Walks Off Hillsboro in Season Opener
The Brownstown/St. Elmo Bombers scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to come away with a 3-2 walk-off win over the Hillsboro Hilltoppers in their season opener on Friday night. After 5 and a half scoreless innings of play, the Bombers got on the board when Calvin Voelker reached on a two-out single, and later came around to score when Jayce Gillespie smoked a double to centerfield to give BSE a 1-0 lead.
