The Incarnate Word women's track and field team took on Day 1 of the UTSA Invitational with Gia Booth posting a pair of top-10 finishes in field events. Booth placed eighth in shot put with a distance of 13.94 meters and then followed that up with a ninth-place finish in hammer throw with a mark of 43.96 meters. Isabella Gonzalez-Velasquez, Dariana Luna , Fatima Montes , and Neus Borras-Sanchez finished 11th through 14th in the javelin throw.
