#2 Men鈥檚 Tennis Sweeps #6 Johns Hopkins and #16 Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday
CLAREMONT, Calif. — The 2nd-ranked University of Chicago men’s tennis team bounced back on Saturday with wins over #6 Johns Hopkins and #16 Pomona-Pitzer to cap off its trip to California. The Sagehens earned the doubles point to open the match with a 1-0 lead for Pomona-Pitzer. UChicago earned the win at #1 doubles with Alexander Ekstrand and Markus Ekstrand combining for a 7-5 win, but the Sagehens won 6-3 at #2 doubles and 7-6 at #3 doubles to take a 1-0 lead.
