Vidmar Debuts With Big Javelin Mark During Day 1 of Wes Kittley Invitational
ABILENE, Texas 鈥� The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros track & field teams opened the outdoor season Friday with Day 1 of the Wes Kittley Invitational hosted by Abilene Christian at Elmer Gray Stadium. Freshman Matic Vidmar made his UTRGV debut and went straight into the outdoor record books in men’s javelin. He finished third in the event with a throw of 58.36 meters, good for No. 3 in program history.
