SAN ANTONIO – The Texas A&M track & field team won four event titles on the opening day of the UTSA Invitational Friday at the Park West Athletics Complex. The Maroon & White opened the meet on top, as Sam Hankins captured the men's javelin title in his first meet since recovering from injury in 2024. The senior recorded a toss of 71.16m/233-6 in the second round which held throughout the meet for the victory.
