Blue Mountain, Miss- The Blue Mountain Christian University baseball team opened its SSAC home series against the UT Southern Firehawks Friday, falling 8-3 in 10 innings after the Firehawks pulled away with a five-run top of the 10th inning. The Toppers showed resilience throughout the game, battling back from an early deficit and forcing extra innings before UT Southern broke the tie late.
