Three Generals Sit in Top 25 After Round One of Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational
JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – Three members of the fourth-ranked Washington and Lee University men’s golf team are sitting within the top 25 after the first round of action at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational. The Blue and White are sitting in a tie for 5th place at seven-under par with No. 12 Southwestern (Texas). No. 6 Sewanee and No. 1 Huntingdon are leading the field after one round of action, shooting 17-under par while No. 3 Carnegie Mellon sits in third with a score of nine-under par and No. 9 Illinois Wesleyan rounds out the top four at eight-under par.…
