Strong First Day at Lee Invitational for Track and Field
CLEVELAND, Tenn. --- Chattanooga posted a strong showing in the outdoor track and field season opener on Day One of the Lee University Invitational Friday evening at the Ray Conn Sports Complex in Cleveland.Andrea Ellis led the Mocs in the 10,000 meter, claiming the win with a time of 37:25.66 followed by Leah Boyd Mitchell in second at 37:52.56. Emma Thweatt placed fourth at 40:29.50. In the 800 meter, Maddie Wheatcroft ran a personal best 2:13.71 and finished second.
