Softball: New infield in place for Owls’ home opener
GAMBIER, Ohio — In time for the Kenyon College Owls home-opening games, The Motz Group completed a fresh new playing surface at the Kenyon Softball Complex, converting the existing dirt infield to a state-of-the-art TriplePlay synthetic turf system. Despite previous attempts to modify the dirt infield, the Softball Complex had multiple issues with drainage, often causing postponements and cancellations. The new turf, as well as the new drainage system underneath it, will allow for more reliable in-game play, as well as far fewer scheduling obstacles.
