Softball Loses Two Heartbreakers to #15 Christopher Newport on Friday
Newport News, VA – Greensboro College Softball (9-9) traveled to #15 Christopher Newport (14-4) on Friday afternoon and lost in walk-off fashion in both games. Game one went to CNU 10-9 while they took game two in eight innings 7-6. Game One: CNU scored the first three runs of the game early to jump out 3-0. Greensboro scored twice in the third thanks to a Raven Taylor two-run homer to trim the score to 3-2.
