School records fall in the 10K for FGCU at Black and Gold Challenge
ORLANDO – FGCU had two new school records set Friday night as new marks were recorded in the men’s and women’s 10,000-meter races at the Black and Gold Challenge hosted by UCF. On the women’s side, Ozia Trujillo was the runner-up in the race and her time of 35:25.42 set FGCU’s school record in the race. Teammate Alise Petrova immediately followed in third and her time of 36:09.15 now ranks second-best in school history.
