MILLEDGEVILLE, GEORGIA 鈥� The University of South Carolina Beaufort softball team opened a three-game series Friday with a 2鈥�1 victory over the Georgia College & State Bobcats, using a seventh-inning run to take the lead and a complete-game performance by Madison Murphy. USCB improves to 18鈥�11 on the season with a 2鈥�5 conference record, while GCSU falls to 8鈥�13.
