Newark, NJ- Rutgers-Newark delivered a competitive effort against a strong, #4-ranked Juniata team but ultimately came up short in a four-set battle, falling 3-1 (27-25, 22-25, 22-25, 23-25) at The Golden Dome. The Scarlet Raiders set the tone early, grinding out a tightly contested first set victory before continuing to challenge Juniata in long, high-energy rallies throughout the match.
