ATLANTA鈥擳he toughest opponent of the season brought out the best in the Oglethorpe men’s tennis team Friday evening at Downing Howell Tennis Courts, as the Stormy Petrels played No. 8 Emory to a 5-2 decision. Oglethorpe won the doubles point for the early lead and looked to be in the hunt for an upset of the top-10 ranked Eagles but could not hold on. The match also featured a big win for sophomore Kellen Simmons, who upset 12th-ranked Dean Kamenev in straight sets at No. 1 singles.
