Lycoming falls to Houghton in spring opener
HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The Lycoming College men’s tennis team fell to Houghton University, 7-0, in non-conference action at Kerr-Pegula Field House on Friday afternoon, March 20. Sophomore Kayvan Shams (Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport Area) won six games at No. 2 singles, falling 6-4, 6-2 to Eben Schilke. Lycoming fell to 2-4 and Houghton improved to 3-2. The Warriors get back to Landmark Conference play on Saturday, March 21, when Drew University comes to Brandon Park for a 1 p.m. match.
