Lobos Watch Eagles Soar Past
ALPINE, Texas 鈥� The Sul Ross State University softball team (1-17 Lone Star Conference, 3-22) lost 12-0 and 9-0 to #12 Oklahoma Christian University (17-3 LSC, 25-6), Friday afternoon at Lobo Softball Field. Game-1 Sul Ross State had at least one runner on in each of the first three innings. Oklahoma Christian managed to hold them off each time. The Eagles sealed the game in the fourth inning. For Sul Ross State, junior Samantha Bustos had two hits. Freshman Addison Castilleja (1-3) gave up 10 hits, 12 runs with seven earned, walked six and stuck out three in four innings.…
