MIAMI – Bringing nearly two decades of collegiate and professional experience along with a proven pedigree as a championship-winning head coach, Miami native Joey Cantens has been named the 10th head coach in FIU men’s basketball program history, Panthers’ Director of Athletics Scott Carr announced on Friday.
