Grove City sweeps Carlow
WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. — The Grove City College softball team opened its northern schedule Friday by taking both ends of a non-conference doubleheader from host Carlow. Grove City won the opener in six innings, 19-4, then picked up a 5-3 win in the nightcap at West Mifflin High School. Grove City (8-2) pounded out 22 hits in Game One, including 10 doubles. Eight of Grove City’s nine offensive starters had at least two hits in the victory.
