Great Guy Neary Selected As #HLTF Indoor Sportsmanship Award Winner
INDIANAPOLIS (3/20/2026) -- University of Detroit Mercy track and field junior Joshua Neary was honored for his great character as he was named the 2026 Horizon League Indoor Track & Field Sportsmanship Award winner. The Sportsmanship Award recognizes student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. Sportsmanship is defined as behavior exhibited during competition by student-athletes based on values, respect, and integrity.
