Former Cowgirl Chase Jackson wins World Indoor Championship in Shot Put
STILLWATER – Former Oklahoma State thrower Chase Jackson won her first career indoor and third career world title at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Poland. Jackson defeated two-time defending world champion Sarah Mitton of Canada with a throw of 20.14 meters on her fourth attempt of the competition. This is her first career world indoor title after earning a silver medal in 2022 back-to-back bronze medals in 2024 and 2025.
