Engineers Pocket First Liberty League Win at Vassar
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. 鈥� The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) baseball team opened Liberty League play with a 9-5 victory at Vassar this afternoon at Prentiss Field. RPI overcame an early 2-0 deficit and took its first lead in the third inning. After Michael Lebenson reached, Alex Coombes launched a two-run home run to left-center to even the score at 2-2 and swing momentum to the Engineers.
