Women’s Lacrosse rolls past Southwestern, 16-3
GEORGETOWN, Texas — The Whitman College women’s lacrosse team closed its Texas road trip with a dominant 16-3 victory over Southwestern University on Thursday afternoon, getting a balanced scoring effort and a standout performance from Sarah Hawkins. The Blues led 2-1 after one quarter, broke the game open with a 6-0 second quarter and never looked back. Hawkins finished with four goals and three assists to lead Whitman, which improved to 3-4 overall.
