Toby Wilcox announces retirement from coaching
EVANSVILLE, Ind. 鈥� University of Evansville (UE) Head Swimming and Diving Coach Toby Wilcox has announced his retirement from the coaching profession. Wilcox rejoined the Purple Aces program in 2024 following a 13-year tenure as head coach at Birmingham Southern. “It was such a great experience to return to the University of Evansville,” Wilcox said. “Being able to reconnect with so many from the school, program, teammates, and student-athletes was a great way to finish out my coaching career!” The 1985 UE graduate began his coaching career with the program in 1986.
