Softball Sweeps RMC for First Time Since 2010
WINCHESTER, Va. – For the first time since 2010, the Shenandoah University softball team swept No. 24 Randolph-Macon College on Thursday at home in the team’s ODAC opener. The Hornets (13-3, 2-0 ODAC) took game one 4-1 behind a two-run home run by Paige Eagleton, before the Yellow Jackets (10-8, 0-2) left the bases loaded in the seventh inning of SU’s game two 2-1 win. Additionally, with five stolen bases on the day, Allison McQueeney now holds the program’s career record for stolen bases with 54.
