Softball Splits Thursday Twinbill
Clermont, Fla. — The UW-Whitewater softball split a pair of games at Hancock Park in the team’s fourth day of games in Floriday Thursday. The Warhawks topped Eastern Connecticut State 8-1 before falling to Macalester 6-4. UWW got on the board in the first inning capitalizing on a ECSU miscue. Grace Grabowy (Arlington Heights, Ill./John Hersey) drove a deep fly ball into left center that the center fielder looked to track down, but the ball hit her mitt and dropped.
