SMU guard Jaron Pierre Jr. was a high-flying threat for the Mustangs and one of the ACC's toughest players to guard. Pierre Jr. ranked 8th in the conference at 17.6 points per contest, shooting a healthy 46.0% from the field. His 2.4 3-point field goals per game placed 10th in the league. He was also efficient from deep after shooting 37.8% from there while snagging 4.9 rebounds and handing out 2.0 assists every game.
