Lynchburg sweeps Mary Baldwin Softball in Thursday doubleheader
Mary Baldwin softball was swept in a doubleheader Thursday afternoon by the University of Lynchburg. The Fighting Squirrels lost the first game 8-0 in five innings and fell 13-5 in six innings in Game two.Game 1 The Fighting Squirrels struggled at the plate, recording just two hits in the opener. The Hornets opened the scoring in the second inning when Zoe Elliott singled to right-center field, driving in two runs.
