S.C. — Sophomore Alexandra Magia topped Charleston Southern's Camila Molina in three sets at No. 5 singles to lift the Longwood women's tennis team to a 4-2 victory to open Big South play at the Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center on Thursday. With the Lancers leading 3-2 in the dual, Magia clinched the match with a 6-1, 4-6, 6-1 triumph, giving Longwood its first win over the defending Big South champion Buccaneers in 13 matches since 2013.
