Clermont, FL – Ending its flurry of recent games and makeups, the Clarkson University Softball team closed out its trip to Florida with a pair of losses, falling University of Chicago 8-3 and to Amherst College 9-4 on Thursday. In the opener, Chicago scored its runs in bunches and had eight by the fourth inning.
