New Orleans, LA – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its regional athletes of the year in indoor track and field on Thursday afternoon as Vassar College Women’s Track and Field junior Haley Schoenegge was named the Mideast Track Athlete of the Year for the second straight year. Schoenegge defended her indoor Mile national title at the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships on Saturday with a new career-best time of 4:42.69, which marks her fourth career national championship.
