DeVeaux Earns NABC First Team All-American
Omari DeVeaux of the Virginia Wesleyan University men’s basketball team has collected multiple awards from the NABC, including: All-District Player of the Year, First Team All-District, and First Team All-American. Previously, he was named ODAC Player of the Year, First Team All-Conference, and D3Hoops.com Second Team All-Region. DeVeaux leads the team, scoring 21.2 points per game, ranking second in the conference, with a 47.2 field goal percentage (ninth in the ODAC), shooting 31.3 from beyond the arc, scoring a total of 572 points this season that puts him over the 1,500 point milestone.
