Curtis Career Day Carries Comeback, #5 Mammoths Win 11-7
CLAREMONT, CA 鈥� Four goals from Caroline Curtis and a second half surge helped the No. 5 Amherst women’s lacrosse team to a comeback win on Thursday, March 19. After a dominate win on Tuesday, the Mammoths faced No. 13 Pomona-Pitzer hoping to go 2-0 on their California road trip. They did just that, going on a 7-1 scoring run in the second half to grab an 11-7 victory. With the win, the Amherst improves to 6-0 overall while the Sagehens drop to 8-1.
