Central takes three regional track and field awards
NEW ORLEANS, LA. 鈥� Following a sensational indoor season, the Central College men’s track and field team took home three Midwest Region honors from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Thursday. Mile national champion Jack Brown (junior, Norwalk) was the Men’s Track Athlete of the Year, heptathlon national runner-up Kale Hobart (junior, Mason City) was the Men’s Field Athlete of the Year and Brandon Sturman was named Men’s Coach of the Year. Brown won the preliminaries and the finals of the men’s mile at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships last weekend.…
