Bonow Finishes First Two Days at NCAA Championships; Named All-American in 100 Fly
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Sophomore Ethan Bonow wrapped up the opening two days of the NCAA Swimming & Diving National Championships with an impressive showing, highlighted by a fifth-place finish in the 100 butterfly to earn First Team All-American honors. Bonow opened competition Wednesday in the 50 freestyle, posting a time of 20.44 to place 38th nationally. The Crawford, Texas native returned to the pool Thursday for the 100 butterfly, clocking a 47.69 in the prelims to secure a spot in the finals.
