Baseball Tops CCNY in Home Opener
MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University baseball team erupted for seven runs in the bottom of the first and the Rangers won 11-9 versus The City College of New York in their home opener at a chilly Doc Young Field at Lonnstrom Stadium in non-conference action on Thursday. The game was called in the bottom of the seventh due to darkness. Freshman Nick Donofrio led a number of Rangers who produced big games at the plate, as he finished 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBIs and a pair of runs scored.
