Baseball Claims First Victory, Defeat Mount Saint Mary in Late Rally
The baseball team traveled to Silver Lake in West Harrison, New York, for a chilly afternoon matchup against the Blue Knights of Mount Saint Mary College. The Bearcats took care of business, earning their first win of the season with a 2鈥�1 victory powered by a two-run eighth inning and another strong pitching performance from Benjamin Norwood. The game remained scoreless through three innings before Mount Saint Mary struck first in the fourth. Richard Lamping drove in the Blue Knights’ lone run with an RBI single to break the deadlock.
