Women’s Tennis: Macalester Opens Spring Trip with Shutout of Oneonta, 7-0
HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Macalester College women’s tennis team played its first dual of Spring Break and blanked SUNY Oneonta, 7-0 Wednesday night. The win gives the Scots a 4-3 record on the season, while the Dragons fall to 6-13. Macalester won all three doubles matches, with seniors Savannah Haugen (Bemidji, Minn./Bemidji) and Elizabeth Trevathan (St. Paul, Minn./St. Paul Academy) winning 6-1 over Haley Peck and Taylor Plue at No. 1 doubles.
