Women’s Swim and Dive Tied for Ninth After NCAA Championships Day One
INDIANAPOLIS — Pomona-Pitzer women's swim and dive featured two individual and one team relay All-American honor Wednesday on day one of the NCAA Swim and Dive Championships. Bennett Jones finished fourth in the 200-yard IM, clocking a 2:01.70 in the championship final. Francesca Coppo then swam a 23.47 in the 50-yard free championship final, finishing eighth. The Sagehens closed out day one with honorable mention honors in the 400-yard medley relay, clocking a 3:47.76. Amaia Sherman started the relay while Coppo, Taylor Park and Nina Aballea followed.
