Women鈥檚 Lacrosse Suffers Hard-Fought Loss To UNH
DURHAM, N.H. -- The Merrimack women's lacrosse team held a fourth-quarter lead against University of New Hampshire, but ultimately couldn't pull out a fourth straight win and fell to the Wildcats, 18-13, at Tucker Field on Wednesday. Sophomore midfielder Sophia Ingenito scored a team-high five goals with one assist while junior attack Lindsay Atkinson tied Ingenito with a team-high six points (three goals, three assists). Ashlyn Campbell (two), Mia Estelle (two) and Camryn Chamberlain all scored for Merrimack. The Warriors held a 26-25 edge in shots, but were out shot 12-4 in the fourth period.
