Thurston Scores First Collegiate Goal in Home Defeat
WILKES-BARRE, PA (March 12, 2026) 鈥� The King’s College women’s lacrosse team fell at home Thursday afternoon, dropping a 17-7 decision to Gwynedd Mercy University at McCarthy Stadium. Gwynedd Mercy took control early, building a 5-1 lead in the opening quarter behind a strong offensive push. King’s found the scoreboard late in the frame, but the Griffins continued to apply pressure and extended their advantage in the second quarter, outscoring the Monarchs to take a double-digit lead into halftime.
