Softball Drops Doubleheader to No. 15 CNU
LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Randolph College softball team dropped both games to the #15 Christopher Newport, 5-18 in five-innings and 1-8 on Wednesday afternoon at home. CNU struck early, plating runs in each of the first two innings before breaking the game open with a three-run third and two more in the fourth to take a 9-0 lead. Randolph found its spark in the bottom of the fourth, stringing together its best offensive inning of the game.
