OHSAA WRESTLING: Avon鈥檚 Englehart places second at OHSAA state meet
Eian Englehart missed becoming Avon鈥檚 fourth state champion, losing in the Ohio High School Athletic Association Division I 215-pound final to St. Edward鈥檚 Aiden Peterson. Englehart was pinned in 1:04 in the final after defeating E.J. German of Brecksville-Broadview Heights, 11-5, in the semifinal. Avon, with Englehart the only wrestler in the meet, finished in 19th place with 21 points. Perrysburg won the team title with 173.5 points, while St. Edward finished second with 168.5.
