Orlando, Fla. – UW-Eau Claire opened the day with a dominant 7-0 victory, showing strength in doubles and sweeping singles to secure a flawless win. The Blugolds battled hard from the first point and came away with key wins across the lineup. Doubles play started with mixed results. Peyton Sheffert and Ethan Heidtke dropped a 6-2 decision at No. 1, but Avery Ellison and Cohen Newberg bounced back with a 6-4 win at No. 2.
