THROGGS NECK, NY – Among his many accolades last season, Jake Devaney (Washingtonville, NY) was the first Maritime College men's basketball player ever chosen as Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Rookie of the Year. This season, he was recognized by the ECAC again with a selection to the All-ECAC Second Team. He's the first Privateer to earn an All-ECAC selection since Ryan Donovan was also named to the Second Team in 2022-23.
