Gibson Heethuis Sets Assists and Points Record During Victory over Edgewood
Attacker Gibson Heethuis provided hot hands 鈥� and record-setting ones 鈥� on a chilly afternoon for the Hope College men’s lacrosse team. The junior from Hudsonville, Michigan (Hudsonville) sparked the unbeaten Flying Dutchmen to a 23-5 victory against Edgewood University at home on Tuesday by contributing a school-record nine assists and 13 points. Entering Tuesday’s play, only five NCAA Division III men’s lacrosse student-athletes had recorded more than nine assists in a game this season.
