Garcia Cid Goes Back-to-Back as GSC Freshman of the Week
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Freshman Mercedes Garcia Cid of the Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis team was named the Gulf South Conference (GSC) Freshman of the Week for the second consecutive week, as announced by the conference office Wednesday morning. Garcia Cid continued her strong play for the Warhawks with an impressive performance against No. 3 West Alabama, earning AUM's lone point in singles competition.
