Big second half propels Cornell to conference win over Marian, 10-4
MOUNT VERNON 鈥� Trailing 4-2 at half, Cornell scored eight goals in the second half Wednesday at Van Metre Field at Ash Park to secure the victory in their conference opener against Marian, 10-4. Cornell (3-2, 1-0 NACC) took the early lead when Kaden Weaver found the back of the net midway through the first quarter, with the first of his three goals.
