#11 MAMMOTHS BESTED BY #4 DENISON, 6-1
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. 鈥� The #11 Amherst College men’s tennis team fell 6鈥�1 to #4 Denison, the defending national champions on Wednesday at the Van Der Meer Tennis Center, closing out their spring break trip at 4鈥�3 overall, 2-1 for the trip. The Mammoths came in riding back-to-back wins over Wesleyan and NC Wesleyan and hoped to extend their unbeaten run at Hilton Head, but Denison proved too consistent, winning in the decisive moments throughout doubles and winning on five of six singles courts.
