AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron football program, under the leadership of fourth-year head coach Joe Moorhead , kicked off the first of 15 spring practices on Tuesday, March 17 at the Stile Athletics Field House. The team will practice Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays throughout the spring. Practices are closed to the public. The Zips' annual Spring Game is slated for Saturday, April 25.
