Women’s Tennis Concludes California Trip With Setback to Chicago
CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Bowdoin College women’s tennis team closed out its California slate with a 6-1 setback to third-ranked Chicago on Tuesday. The tenth-ranked Polar Bears will return home with a 3-3 overall mark. Match Highlights Bowdoin claimed the doubles point with a pair of wins courtesy of Suzanne Pogorelec/Cara Hung at number two (6-3) and Caroline Stuhlfaut/Naomi Williams (6-2) at number three. Chicago stormed back in singles play, however, winning all six matches to take the victory. Pogorelec was the closest, falling in a three-setter (3-6, 6-1, 6-2).
